Altastream’s APEX NSE 100 industrial generator set is an environmentally friendly, fully integrated power generation system tailored to provide optimum performance, reliability, and versatility. A primary benefit of the APEX NSE is its strong motor-starting capability and fast recovery from transient load changes. The torque-matched system includes a heavy-duty industrial SRC/International Harvester 4-cycle spark-ignited engine, an AC alternator with high motor-starting kVA capacity and an electronic voltage regulator for precise regulation under steady-state or transient loads.
The environmentally friendly APEX NSE is designed to run directly off of wellhead gas*. The unit is designed to meet Alberta EUB guidelines for noise, as well as California CARB 2007 emissions regulations. The APEX NSE provides complete fluid containment, enabling operators to deliver cost effective solutions while meeting today’s increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.
The APEX NSE offers a rapid connect and go capability and user friendly operation. The control system is microprocessor-based with local starting and stopping,
remote operation option, integrated governor and voltage regulation, alarm and status message display, output metering, and auto-shutdown at fault detection, all to provide highly reliable generator performance.
The APEX NSE is designed from the ground up to deliver a platform that reduces ongoing operational costs and
provides years of trouble free operation. It’s reduced maintenance requirements, extended service intervals and on-board diagnostics cut down downtime and save money. Every production unit is factory tested at rated load and power factor. This testing includes demonstration of rated power and single-step rated load pickup.
